Hangman (Latah) Creek Watershed Planning Project

Summary of Findings and recommendations

In accordance with the Watershed Management Act of 1998, a Watershed Plan must analyze water quantity issues in the basin and provide recommendations in regards to future water use. The Act also provides the authority and additional funding for plans to address other “optional” elements, including water quality and in-stream flows. The agencies initiating the Hangman Creek project elected to include all optional elements in the planning process provided that time and funding were available.

The following are links to summary information on the findings for each of the planning elements and an overview of project recommendations and next steps.
