Spokane County Conservation District Business

The business of the SCCD is governed by a five member Board of Supervisors. The SCCD Board of Supervisors hold regularly scheduled meetings the second Tuesday of every month to conduct the business of the District. Meetings are open to the public and guests are always welcome.

All meetings are held at the SCCD headquarters at 210 North Havana Street in Spokane, Washington unless otherwise noted on the meeting calendar.

Positions on the SCCD Board of Supervisors Available

The terms of one elected and one appointed position on the SCCD Board of Supervisors expire in 2008. All registered voters who own or occupy land within the District, which includes all land within Spokane County, except for land within the city limits of Deer Park, are eligible to hold office and vote in the election. Citizens living within the city limits of Deer Park are eligible to run for office and vote if they also own land outside of those city limits.

The election will be held on March 11, 2008, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the SCCD office, 210 North Havana in Spokane. The District is in the process of making provisions for mail-in ballots. More information will be posted when the details have been determined.
